Mobile Personal Training
Strength training for adults in their 40s, 50s and 60s, including those who have recovered from injury. I come to you and I bring the equipment. The program starts from what you can actually do, not a template.

Two ways to work with us
We want to work with you in the most comfortable way for you, whether it means we are coming to you or meeting online.
In person
Your home, a local park, or a gym if you’d rather, in groups of two or three matched on ability and goals. The check-in, warm-up, session and stretch all fit inside the hour. Bring your own pair, or we will place you in a forming group.
Online coaching
For when you are outside the service area, you travel, or you already train confidently and need programming rather than supervision. Everything is delivered remotely, on your own schedule.
Who we train
If one of these is you, you are in ordinary company here.
-
Starting again after 50
The first step back is the hardest part. So we start small, measured and supervised. -
Low bone density
Walking alone does not load bone. Progressive loading and impact work do. -
Menopause and post-menopause
Strength, sleep and body composition shift at once. Training should account for it. -
Cantonese and Mandarin speakers
Fluent Cantonese and clinical training rarely come together. Here we do. -
Finished rehab, still not strong
Rehab ends when the pain does. The gap to genuinely strong is where we work. -
Training already, and stuck
You lift and you run, and the numbers stopped. Programming with a clinical eye.
Why we train for power, not just strength
Most training for people over 60 is designed to avoid risk. We design ours to build capacity. Power, impact loading and sprint work are what maintain bone density, tendon strength and nervous system speed, and they are precisely what most programs for this age group leave out. Our personal training is what lets us program them safely around a hip replacement, osteoporosis or chronic pain.

The things people ask first
Everything worth knowing before you get in touch.
I haven’t trained in years. Am I too far behind to start?
No. Almost everyone I work with starts from a long way back, and the first block is deliberately conservative — we find where you actually are on day one and build from there. If a group would move too fast for you right now, I’ll say so and we’ll start one to one.
Is this physiotherapy?
No. Alpine is personal training. I’m a qualified physiotherapist and that shapes how I program around injuries and conditions, but I don’t assess, diagnose or treat here. If that’s what you need, I’ll refer you to a physiotherapist who does.
What if I have osteoporosis, arthritis, or a heart condition?
Most conditions are trainable with the right programming, and several improve with it. Please clear exercise with your GP first, tell me what they’ve said, and I’ll build around it. If something falls outside what’s safe for personal training, I’ll tell you plainly rather than guess.
Do you come to my house?
Yes. Alpine is a mobile service across the Gold Coast, so sessions run at your home, in a park near you, or at a gym you already belong to. There is no studio to drive to and nothing to join. I bring the weights, the bands and everything else the session needs.
Where on the Gold Coast do you travel?
Burleigh Heads and the surrounding suburbs, with sessions at your home, a local park, or your own gym. If you’re a little further out, it usually still works.
How much space do I need at home?
About three metres by three metres of clear floor, which most living rooms have once a coffee table moves. A garage, a driveway or a patch of lawn works just as well. If your space genuinely will not do the job, I will say so on the first visit and we will use a park instead.
Do I need a gym membership or any equipment?
Neither. I bring everything the session needs — weights, bands, a step, a dynamometer for grip testing. All you need is a patch of floor, a driveway, or a park bench.
How often should I train?
Once a week produces real change in the first block; twice a week produces more. Most people start once a week, see the six-week retest, and then decide.
How do I find two people to train with?
Plenty of people bring a partner, neighbour, or friend. If you don’t have anyone, say so when you enquire and I’ll match you into a forming group of similar age and ability. Groups are capped at three so nobody gets lost in the crowd.
Can I claim this on Medicare or private health?
Personal training isn’t claimable under Medicare, and most private health funds don’t cover it either. Some funds offer a general health or “living well” benefit that may apply — worth a quick call to yours. Payment is direct, online, at the time of booking.
